About PokeRummy

PokeRummy combines two of the world's most beloved card games into one unique experience. You start with 5 cards and take turns drawing from the deck or the discard pile, just like in Rummy. But instead of forming sets and sequences, your goal is to build the strongest Poker hand possible: a Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, or Royal Flush.

The game ends when a player holding a Straight or better decides to end the round. Everyone reveals their hands, points are calculated based on Poker hand rankings, and the round winner earns a finishing bonus. The player with the most cumulative points across multiple rounds wins the match.

This hybrid mechanic creates a completely different kind of tension: you have to decide not just what hand to build, but when to end the round, before your opponents can improve their hands further. Timing and reading the table are just as important as the cards you hold.

We grew up playing both Poker and Rummy with family and friends. Poker is exciting but can feel passive: sometimes you just wait for good cards and fold everything else. Rummy is active and engaging, yet its victory conditions don't carry the same dramatic weight as Poker's iconic hands.

PokeRummy was born from a simple question: what if you combined the active, turn-by-turn decision-making of Rummy with the satisfying hand hierarchy of Poker? The result is a game that keeps you engaged every single turn: drawing, discarding, planning, and deciding when to strike.
