Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about PokeRummy.
About the Game
PokeRummy is a free-to-play, skill-based card game that combines two classic games: Rummy and Poker. You draw and discard cards like in Rummy, but your goal is to build the best Poker hand (Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, or Royal Flush) and end the round at the right time.
No. PokeRummy is not a gambling game. There is no real money involved at any point. You play with virtual chips that are earned for free through daily rewards, timed bonuses, and by winning matches. You cannot deposit, withdraw, or convert chips into real currency.
Yes, PokeRummy is completely free to play. You receive 1,000 free chips when you sign up, plus daily login rewards and a bonus every 4 hours. Optional in-app purchases for additional virtual chips are available but never required to enjoy the full game.
In regular Poker, your cards are mostly fixed — you can swap some in draw variants, but the decision space is limited. In PokeRummy, you draw and discard every single turn, just like Rummy, which means you are actively building and improving your hand the whole time. You also decide when to end the round, which adds a strategic timing element that Poker does not have.
How to Play
Each player is dealt 5 cards. On your turn, you draw one card from the deck or the discard pile, then discard one card from your hand. You keep doing this until a player who holds a Straight or better decides to end the round. Everyone then reveals their hands, and points are awarded based on hand strength. The player who ends the round also earns a finishing bonus.
You need at least a Straight (five cards in sequential order, any suits) to end the round. Hands weaker than a Straight — like a pair, two pairs, or three of a kind — are not strong enough to trigger the end of the round.
Points are based on Poker hand rankings: a Straight earns fewer points than a Flush, a Flush earns fewer than a Full House, and so on. A Royal Flush is the maximum. The player who ends the round also gets a finishing bonus added to their score.
Yes. PokeRummy includes AI bot opponents you can play against any time. Bot matches are a great way to practice strategy, learn the hand rankings, and improve before competing against real players.
Account & Chips
You earn chips in several ways: the 1,000 chip welcome bonus when you first sign up, a daily login reward every 24 hours, a timed bonus every 4 hours, and chips earned by winning matches. Inviting friends also rewards you with bonus chips.
You can always collect your daily reward and timed bonus to get more free chips. If you have completely exhausted all free chip options, you have the option to purchase additional virtual chips through the in-app shop. Purchases are optional and only add virtual chips — they do not provide any gameplay advantage beyond having more chips to play with.
Yes. PokeRummy has a global leaderboard that ranks players by their match performance. You can view the top players directly from the homepage dashboard.
Yes. You can request account deletion from your profile settings. All your data, including your chip balance and match history, will be permanently removed.
